More sexuality...it never ends!

i(heart)sex
It seems that no matter how thorough one tries to be, the total range of human sexual expression is always bigger than one thinks it is. Even if you, y'know, keep in mind that no matter how big you think it is, it's bigger than that.

So here's the latest update on the Map of Human Sexuality. As before, clicking on the small version will lead to a bigger version. A much, much, much, MUCH bigger version.

I haven't had time to put the updated map into the interactive version yet; eventually I'll do that, and fix some problems with the interactive version,a nd probably add a new "fantasized about it but not interested in experimenting with it for real" pin.

I still want to make posters of it, though the fact that the company I work with is teetering on the edge of bankruptcy is creating a problem as far as that goes.

Still haven't heard back from Penthouse magazine. They are talking about running an article about the map in the March edition. Guess we'll see.

New & expanded? Sheesh, I will feel even more vanilla than ever :D I will pass it on to my friends, they have more than enough pins to make up for me.

It's always amusing putting these terms into Wikipedia and (in this case) going "woo hoo!"

I had a look but couldn't find Amputee Devotee.

Er, you know, just of interest sake, of course...

Thank you. If I ever get time, I now have a whole list of things to lookup online! Never heard of some of the things, especially some in the northeast corner of the map.... But at least it makes me feel innocent and naive again, by comparison! (Haven't felt that way in a long time)

If it can be adapted to A3 (11.7 × 16.5), I can do digital printing very cost effectively.

That said, as we work in NZ$, I could get it done very cost effectively in other sizes, too- just not at my work.

I sent you a message just before you got sick. If you missed it, send me an email or something and I'll put you in touch with someone who may be able to work with you on getting posters printed.

Re: Glitch?
What browser (and version) are you using? I've noticed this issue with IE 6, but I haven't nailed it down yet. It's on the top of the buglist for the next version, and I've been working on the problem this afternoon, as a matter of fact.

Re: Glitch?
Woot! If you were using Firefox, I found and fixed this problem. Firefox doesn't obey "margin=" commands in the BODY tag crrectly (it offsets them by 3 pixels), so moving the margin into CSS solved the issue. Also, the toolbar now stays put more smoothly in Firefox.

Franklin, it occurred to me that if you're going to do an update you might want to adopt a bit of the FetLife system.

3 sets of pins: one set red & pink, one dark blue & sky blue, one dark green & light green, whatever.

Dark pin is "done," light pin is "curious about."
Red is "Does to others," blue is "has it done to," green is "likes it both ways."

Just a thought. :-)

It would be great if the map were something we could save and come back to, add more stuff, or change pins from "things I'd like to try" into "tried and liked", or "tried and didn't like".

I need to look at the map off and on to remember what I've done.
