I wonder which "little one's" he's talking about. I'm also not quite sure what the reference to the "age of accountability" means, but there's something in me that makes me wonder if this guy wasn't abused as a kid.

Hey, you braggin' AGAIN? That's right, make the rest of us green with envy that YOU get all the great mail, Franklin.

The best part about this whole email is the fact that he admits to having poor spelling and whatnot, and that he doesn't make the effort to correct it. Maybe we'd take people like this more seriously if their writing didn't look like the ramblings of a deranged lunatic.

Yea, you get the best email. LOL

Devil's Advocate weighing in over here - My spelling's jaunty at best. For my personal communications, I decided not to use spell check (which I'm certain is obvious all over my journal). I just didn't want to have to work that hard when it was personal, so I gave me a break on this one. Maybe Mister Ducky, above, feels the same? Couldn't say.

Franlin does get the best emails though, doesn't he? I mean, that one's a "print it out and frame it" kinda thing. (I am laughing.) PS: Nice to meet you!

Not me, it bothers me to see even my own emails that badly misspelled. LOL
I see your point, though. *grin*

Nice to meet you too.

I don't think correcting the spelling will remedy that. - ZM

He (she?)seems to have some kind of traumatic attachment to the letter "u". Even as he attempts to rise above his obsession, he types the letter once and is so overcome with fascination that he must see it several more times before he can go on. I wonder if there's a name for this condition.

I think he was definitely abused. The closed head trauma is quite evident.

I'm also not quite sure what the reference to the “age of accountability” means

It's the age at which some Christian sects believe a person becomes accountable for their sins, because they are old/mature enough to understand that an action is wrong. Below that age, God won't hold the child accountable for sins because the child doesn't understand that what he did was wrong.

Maybe he's trying to say, “i no i rite liek a littl kid but i'm old enuf to no right from rong and you'r wrong and uuuuuuuuuu r going to hell and i no that bc i'm older then 12!!!!!!!!!eleventyone!”

Wow, thats a doozy. I want to have a website that attracts this classy kind of feedback. In related news, I asked a guy at work to stop praying for me. I'm sure there is a better use of his time.

Whoa Franklin, I think I met that guy recently! Hrmmm well at least one like him anyway. Did I mention that right along the highway near my hotel is some kind of church that looks exactly like the white house? If that weren't insult enough, I think it either used to be or still is one of Tammy Faye's favorite hang-outs. I know, hard to believe here in Beer and Football central, but as someone else wrote in my LJ recently, the moral minority here is staunch and has bathes [in] Texas crude. You think Florida old boy politics are bad? PTA compared to here.

Now that is entertainment! Brings out the schadenfreude in all of us, I'm sure. Along with the fear.

That is one messed up kid/guy/whatever. Sadly, most every rural region of this continent boasts some similar degree of tolerated ignorance.

heh
I've always wondered about people that post things like that. If they're so Holy, what are they doing cruising BDSM sites on the Internet, making belligerent posts in people's guestbooks? You'd think they'd be more Zen (and literate) than this.

...a bad name
Yeah....

OK, it is exactly that ignorance that gives other Christians a bad name.

He quotes the Bible, yet, probably has no idea what he is talking about. Takes it totally out of context. If you quote a passage, yet fail to read the rest of the chapter, or the whole thing for that matter, it is really easy to miss the point and make it be what you want it to be. Bad idea.

I agree with the other post, what the heck was he doing on the site to begin with? Certainly not "witnessing". He was looking to get a warm fuzzy about himself by judging another person for their perceived "sins". If he knew anything, he would know that he himself is a sinner and not worthy to judge another living soul!

I mean, if you want to get technical anyone can come back with a Biblical quote:

Exodus 21
20 "If a man beats his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies as a direct result, he must be punished, 21 but he is not to be punished if the slave gets up after a day or two, since the slave is his property.

Nobody is dying here!

I am a Christian. I do not force feed my beliefs upon others, nor do I denounce my beliefs. I do not verbally denounce the beliefs of others. No one should. It is not fair and it is just not nice. Everyone has their own beliefs, that is why we are all individuals.

Sigh.....
