Liam's Big Adventure, Day 4

Pushed through 663 miles yesterday, including a detour around Salt Lake City to avoid attack by revenant Mormonoids from the Deep.

Liam woke up very, very cranky, oh yes he did. It wasn't until after we'd had breakfast that he finally calmed down. He spent the entire night (yes, the entire night!) chasing a moth around the hotel room, and I think he was sad to see it go.

Stopped for gas in Bliss, Idaho. There's a false advertising lawsuit just waiting there, in case you were wondering. I've seen more bliss at the Department of Motor Vehicles.

In about five hours, we'll be in Portland!

Welcome. The rumours about locals abducting new people as part of secret rites to Dagon are entirely overstated.

Just so you know, these have made me and my roommate's days! We love following Liam's adventure. Also, she's now officially in love with you b/c you're in love with your cat. LOL

You're moving to Portland? AWESOME.

Your cat doesn't even seem upset. My cats FREAKED when we just moved across town.

It's funny to see the route you're taking, it almost exactly follows a segment of a route of the fiber network I monitor.

Yay! I'm happy to help with the unpacking as well. I'm no good with unloading a truck, but I'm great with the setting up of kitchens and rearranging things once they're inside. :)

Huh. You went right through my home town, it appears.

Good ol' Southern Idaho. Nothing there but sagebrush, cows, and cows eating sagebrush.

I was about to say the same thing. Talk about seeing nothing but the most BORING part of my state. Way too easy to fall asleep on I-84. You know it's sad when the highlights are stopping at Subway in Burley and smelling humungous tubes of manure in Jerome.
