Well, I will point out that there's a bit of a fallacy in there - "Whenever we've uncovered a mystery we've always discovered it was... not magic" (or something very similar to this). But not all mysteries, past or present, have been solved. And if something is "magic" then, pretty much by definition, science will never be able to figure out how or why it works or worked. So this statement doesn't prove anything aside from this: the things that were discovered to be not magic are... not magic.

But, since the character in question was angry and drunk, I'll let it slide. ;-p

One of my favorites! I'm also looking forward to the new animated Storm (I missed the panel with the animator at Dragoncon this year).

tacit you really ought to peruse my "cool shit", "awesome science stuff", "atheism", "atheist music videos" and "humor" playlists on YouTube more often :-) Tim Minchin's Tony The Fish is pretty hilarious too!
